5 Minute Body Scan

This month in the Stress Less Habits Challenge it’s all about doing 2 minutes of deep belly breathing at least twice a day. If you’re on my newsletter (and if you’re not, head to stresslesshabits.com to join it) you know the science behind why deep breathing is critical.

So what I wanted to do today was a bit of a prelude to meditation. Let’s be honest, meditation can be hard for people. What I truly want is for you to connect to your body, to loosen those muscles and feel what you’re feeling.

To do that, today I’m going to lead you in a five minute body scan. You can download this and come back to it any time. Please don’t be driving! Find somewhere comfortable and quiet and get cozy.

And with that, I’ll go into the body scan…

I can vouch for this because I have been practicing mindfulness for many years. It always puts me in a calm state and infuses me with a sudden rush of energy.
