Today on the podcast I have a special guest, someone whose delicious treats have filled my belly and my heart with joy for a couple of years now.
Deidre Lotecki is the owner of Sweet Relief Pastries, and I kid you not when I say her treats are to die for! I discovered the bakery through a coworker, because when someone offers you a chocolate covered Oreo you don’t say no. Then when my podcast celebrated 100 episodes, it had to be Deidre who made the cookies to celebrate.

We talk about how baking was not in Deidre’s original life plan and what that transition was mid-university degree. We talk about her time with the CIA (more on that later, hehe), working at the Fairmont Banff Springs, our shared experience meeting our partners while working in hotels, her transition back to Calgary and the start of Sweet Relief.
Deidre shares how she set herself apart when starting her business, and what she’s been doing since the pandemic to keep Sweet Relief alive and kicking. Make sure you follow Deidre on Instagram @sweetreliefpastries, because if you’re in Calgary, she and I are doing an awesome giveaway.
Or listen on Apple Podcasts, Stitcher, Spotify, Google Play or Podbean.
