I have a not-so-secret dream. In my perfect world, I’d love to live in Scotland for a year with my family. For those of you who don’t know, my husband is from Scotland. I’d love for us to spend a year there, for our kids to get to spend an entire year of seasons and birthdays and holidays with their cousins, for us to explore Scotland, and much more. That’s my dream. I hope to make it a reality, but for now, the dream is moving to BC, so one major dream at time.
A person who has done an incredible adventure like this is today’s guest, Lisa Webb. I was first introduced to Lisa through her Wine, Women and Well-being events which are all about bringing women together to create community.

What I am most fascinated by about Lisa, however, is the expat lifestyle that she’s lived. We talk in this podcast about what led her and her husband to move to France from Canada, how she had both of her children overseas, their time in Indonesia, Congo and what led them back home. We talk about the highs and lows of travel with kids, how more people can explore the expat lifestyle, the books that she has written and contributed to and more.
With COVID-19 and the restrictions on travel, maybe travel does look different going forward. Maybe it does look like longer adventures, making the expat lifestyle more and more of a possibility. Just sayin…
