I feel like I’ve been watching interviews for as long as I can remember. Oprah. Katie Couric. Barbara Walters. There is huge power in the kind of questions you can ask that lead to people sharing vulnerable stories. One person who is beyond skilled in the art of the interview – Carrie Doll.
I discovered Carrie through her podcast, The Inner Circle, and her skill in interviewing blows me away. Carrie brings strong individuals to the mic to share their journeys as entrepreneurs, with health struggles, nonprofits and more. She holds space for them to open up about some of their hardest moments in life, in the hopes that their story supports others.

Carrie has not been without her own struggles in life. We talk about how she struggled with motherhood and balancing the demanding role of being an evening news co-anchor. We talk about the incredible challenge of 2017 during which time she lost her mother, had a partial hysterectomy and lost her thumb in a boating accident.
We discuss her journey to recovering from the PTSD of everything that happened in her life during 2017, the strength in seeking help, and recognizing yourself in the stories of others.
