I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Liza Palmer at the Surrey International Writers’ Conference. She moderated a panel session that I attended, and then I had the pure luck of sitting at her table at lunch that day where I learned how funny, quirky and witty this woman is!
Liza is an Emmy-nominated writer, an international bestselling author with seven books under her belt, and currently works with Buzzfeed in their scripted video content department. Ever wondered what it’s like to work for Buzzfeed? We talk all about it!
At SIWC, Liza delivered the closing keynote and I guarantee there was not a dry eye in the room. She talks about her struggle with feeling like a ‘real writer’. You just need to insert your own insecurity into ‘real writer’ and you’ll connect with her speech. Whether you struggle to feel good at your chosen career, as a parent, as a friend, at your school work… you name it, you’ll connect with Liza’s epic keynote and we talk about the genesis of that material.
