Today’s guest on the Girl Tries Life podcast is… me! I decided to head on over to the other side of the interview because I think there’s something to be said for knowing a little bit about who is normally doing the interviewing and what I’m all about. My blog readers will know a lot more than most, but for those who are podcast-only listeners, you maybe don’t know Victoria so well!
Thankfully I didn’t just have to be a talking head for this interview, and my good friend and fellow podcaster Vanda (from the Tight Ends Podcast) agreed to interview me. We had a blast, laughed a lot and it’s more chat than anything else.
We talk about my travels, my experience with mental illness, how I met my husband, our hilarious honeymoon medical mishap, my struggles with motherhood and learning to become a health and life coach.
This podcast is a proud member of the Alberta Podcast Network, powered by ATB. As a passionate member of the nonprofit community, I of course champion ATB’s work with ATB Cares, so if you want to see you donation matched by 15%, then donate through atbcares.com Big thanks to Vanda from The Tight Ends Podcast for her fabulous interview skills.
We chat about the book that has recently inspired me, called Girl, Wash Your Face and I highly recommend you pick it up on Audible for FREE! To get a free copy go to www.audibletrial.com/girltrieslife
Our next guest on the podcast will be Emma Cranstoun, a marketing expert, the creator of Scrubbingtons, wife and mother of two. We talk about working in very male environments, falling into career paths, how we prepare kids for the uncertain economy of the future and more.
