Welcome to Day 6 of the Girl Tries Life podcast. I am so proud of you, and grateful, that you’re still here 6 days in. That’s fantastic.
Today’s topic is all about gratitude. We talk about the benefits of practicing gratitude based on scientific research (don’t worry, I don’t bore you with details), how gratitude can help you achieve your goals, and how to start practicing gratitude on a daily basis.
Start (today!) recording 10 things that you’re grateful for on a daily basis. Keep a notebook by your bed, or somewhere that will trigger you to remember to complete it every night. If you reach 10 things, and sometimes you’ll need to get creative, then I encourage you to finish your post by writing “Today was a good day!” as I did in the photo above.
Try to keep this journal up for the remainder of the 21 day challenge, and if it’s adding value to your life, I highly recommend you continue with it.
As always, I’d love if you could leave a review for the podcast on iTunes, as reviews help listeners to find the Girl Tries Life podcast. Make sure to subscribe so that you don’t miss an episode.
Share your gratitude journals, or photos that make you grateful by tagging me @girltrieslife or using #girltrieslife21 so we can share it with the community.
