Ah the dreaded ‘h’ word. Dun dun dun… habit!
If more than 40% of our days are made up of habits, it’s about time we understood how to master them and take control.
In this episode, I refer to the book The Power of Habit: Why We Do What We do in Life and Business, because it’s genius! Duhigg breaks down the three stages of a habit, what makes one good, what makes one bad, and how to use your knowledge of habits in your favour.

Today’s Challenge:
I want you to identify a new habit that you’d like to create. A daily, small habit that will add value to your life. Think through the cue, routine and reward. This could be as simple as brushing your teeth or using the 5 second rule. Then… put it into action!
If you want a little extra, think about one of your ‘bad’ habits. Identify the cue and make a plan on how to isolate it, setting yourself up for success.
We also talked about The 5 Second Rule: Transform your Life, Work, and Confidence with Everyday Courage by Mel Robbins, which I highly recommend you check out.
If you’re tight on time or are more a visual/auditory learner, I recommend her interview with Lewis Howes below:
As always, I’d be very grateful if you’d leave a review for the podcast on iTunes. It helps us to find new listeners, and it gives me a sense of the content you enjoy and where we can make some changes.
See you tomorrow for a super-easy and actionable topic!
