Almost a year ago I was lucky enough to work with a KonMari consultant-in-training to help de-clutter our home. It felt overwhelming. There was too much stuff everywhere. There was childhood crap, paperwork coming out of my eyeballs and our kids were constantly outgrowing their clothes and toys and new ones would enter before the old ones had left.
The KonMari process lifted this enormous weight off of our shoulders and I’ll forever be grateful to Diane Poon for her help.
We mutually had been following Helen Youn, the first Certified KonMari Consultant in the world… and she just so happens to live in the same city as me. I’ve seen Helen speak a number of times and have followed her on social media. I’m always blown away by what she has accomplished and how she keeps her home feeling calm, peaceful and joyful with a child!
We talk about how your space and clutter affects your stress, how you can maintain KonMari principles through habits, being consistent amidst the chaos, her experience with Graves disease and much more.
